Rally in Newark marks assassination of Dr. King, Jr.
A rally was held in Newark to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The rally on Market and Broad streets was held by People’s Organization for Progress.
The group says that the work King did is threatened with what they call attacks on organized labor.
