POP wants you as a member of our organization because we are stronger united than we are divided. Ultimately, it is not what we say about the issues and the problems in our communities, it is what we do about them that counts the most. You should join the People’s Organization for Progress if you are ready to be part of an organization that takes action on issues.
Who Can Join POP?
Anyone who supports the goals and activities of the organization can join POP. It does not matter if you are rich or poor; young or old; skilled or unskilled, your religious affiliation is not an issue either. There is something for everyone to do within the People’s Organization for Progress.
If I can Join POP How Much Time Do I have to Give?
Members are encouraged to participate in all activities; however, each member is free to determine his or her own level of participation.

Where and When Does POP meet?
POP meets each Thursday, 6:30 PM, Abyssinian Baptist Church, 224 West Kinney Street, Newark, NJ.
