On Saturday, April 21st, the People’s Organization for Progress along with students from around the state will host their first rally to demand that the State of New Jersey became a Tuition Free state and to End Student Debt.The action is called ‘The Free College Tuition/End Student Debt March.’Participants will assemble at the Lincoln Memorial at 12 noon.
“The cost of a college education is too high. “Our students should not graduate from college as indentured servants to pay off student loans,” said Hamm emphatically. This first action seeks to involve and bring together college students currently facing these challenges. Future actions will seek to involve other elements of society affected. This demand goes beyond Governor Phil Murphy’s express effort to make New Jersey Community Colleges’Tuition Free…
