People’s Organization For Progress
I am very pleased to hear that you are home. I am continuing to keep you in my prayers for full healing. Blessings to you and your family.
Dear Mr. Hamm
I am so sorry to hear of your accident and so very grateful that you are recovering well. I hope I don’t seem indifferent for calling on your help at such a delicate time for you; but I do so in hopes of becoming an asset to all your endeavors over the years. My name is Diane V. Boone, I am a Social Equity Provocateur, I would like to meet with you for the possibility of participating with your organization on progressive measures of change and empowerment for African America.
I am seeking organizations like yours that has kept the flames of civil rights active throughout the silent, but vicious war against Black people since the 1960’s to unite with in building the viable black communities that is so feared by mainstream.
I am reaching out to you specifically, because I am from the projects of Newark, I fled the city in 1992 with my 5 children and nothing but the clothes on our backs…into the beautiful mountainous region of Northeast Pennsylvania where I came face to face with the kind of racism most of us only read about in the news. What quickly went from being safer on the street than in our home, because of abuse in Newark; to being safer in our home than on the street because of the color of our skin in Scranton, led me on a journey to becoming one of the most influential social change makers of Northeast Pennsylvania.
In the 20 years I have been away, I have gone from drug addict to CEO of my corporation, making history and change all along the way. Please visit my website for more information: http://dianevboone.com/
IT’S TIME TO COME HOME! With the changes that have occurred in Newark in these same 20 years, I cannot move forward without first giving back to where I came from so I turn to you, Mr. Hamm, for an opportunity to speak to your members and work with your organization to reach the masses of our great city for some real change. Find out how I did it and what I have learned!
Malcolm X’s upcoming Birthday would the opportune occasion for the message I have to share concerning our youth and education system that has corrupted the core of our empowerment as a people. I am not a rabble rouser; I am a problem solver and I come with a plan of action that will enliven not only the city of Newark; but all the destitute areas of this nation sectioned off as black communities.
If collaboration is of interest to you, please contact me at your earliest convenience to talk further. It will be an honor to speak with you and work with you. I can be reached at 717 614 7614.
Adhimu – so happy to learn that you are back home. Please write so we can plan a visit in June with several of the PFLSA gang: Tambuzi, Steve H, and Ila F.
Take good care and hope to see you soon.
