Stand with us and our progressive community allies as we unite to make our voices heard on the Springfield Avenue Market Place Development Project.
Originally this project was proposed to be a local supermarket for the community but, now we hear it is going to be a Walmart. Walmart has a history of destroying local business, providing low wage jobs, and puts many workers at risk in dangerous work conditions.
This project should uplift our community and our city- not hurt it. We want development that is union built and union staffed, so that we can have jobs that provide a sustainable wage, decent hours, and safe working conditions.
